Frequently Asked Questions

Who can become a member of The Master’s Fellowship?
The Master’s Fellowship (TMF) membership is open to pastors, ministry leaders, and missionaries. Membership is limited to those who have an official role and responsibility to lead in the church. We do accept Elders and Deacons where they are intimately involved with the church’s pastoral leadership team. Missionaries must be affirmed and officially deployed by their home/sending church, and it is helpful if they are a part of a respected and trusted missions’ agency.
Is TMF just for alumni of The Master’s Seminary?
No. TMF membership is broader than the alumni of The Master’s University and Seminary. However, TMUS is central to who we are as an organization. In fact, all Regional Leaders must be willing to sign the TMUS doctrinal statement. Members must be willing to sign the 9 Core Commitments of The Master’s Fellowship. TMF members are understood to be “like-minded,” compatible, but not identical in all areas of doctrine and practice.
How do I become a member?
Please begin by filling out the information requested under “Membership Inquiry.” Once completed, our TMF staff will be in contact with you shortly to communicate next steps.
Are there dues associated with membership?
There are no dues to be a part of TMF. However, we ask members to invest their unique gifts in their local gathering. The strength and longevity of The Master’s Fellowship hinges on the commitment to participating and investing, not just receiving and benefitting.
Does TMF partner with churches or with individuals?
Although we have a church finder as a helpful ministry networking tool, The Master’s Fellowship partners with individual pastors, ministry leaders, and missionaries, not with churches. The goal of TMF is to serve the local Church by networking and supporting its leaders, while maintaining the church’s total autonomy and self-governance. We desire to be a high support, no control organization. We hope to have influence through relationship.
What do I do if there is currently no fellowship group in my area?
First, begin by pursuing membership. There are still benefits to being a part of our global network, even if there is currently no local fellowship group in your area. Second, contact Todd Fletcher at [email protected] to talk about the process of getting a regional gathering started in your area.
Why is my church not listed on the TMF church finder?
If a new member is a senior pastor, their church will be included on our TMF church finder, pending approval from local leadership, as long as they remain actively involved in local fellowship. We do not include any churches on the finder whose senior pastor is not a TMF member so as not to create any opportunity for division in a local body. The Regional Administrator will keep tabs on the church finder roster in their area in order to keep it up to date with only members in good standing with TMF, who are actively involved in relationship at the local level. If you believe your church has been omitted by mistake, please email Brett Zamroz at [email protected].
Do I have to leave my other pastoral networks to be a part of TMF?
The Master’s Fellowship does not need to be the exclusive association that a member is a part of. We recognize that fellowship and connections with other associations may be helpful to broaden and network for Kingdom influence, but we hope the commonality of conviction with the Master’s Fellowship will make it central and a priority of investment and benefit.
What do I do if I switch churches?
If a pastor switches churches or email addresses, or for some reason is not receiving our TMF communications, they can use the “contact us” function on our website to update their information, and TMF staff will make modifications accordingly.
Is TMF aiming at becoming a denomination?
No. We are simply a network of pastors and ministry leaders bonded by common affections and common convictions. Our goal is to strengthen and support like-minded ministry leaders around the world by promoting fellowship, leadership, and partnership through local regions that lead to global impact.
